How long does matcha last?

Unopened: 6-12 months at room temperature, longer if refrigerated. Opened: 1-2 months for best quality, though it won't be unsafe after that — just less fresh.
How to store matcha properly

Store matcha in an airtight container, in a cool dark place (refrigerator is ideal). Keep it away from heat, light, moisture, and strong smells. Once opened, use within 1-2 months.
